Mozartkugeln

Austrian confectioner Paul Fürst began producing the famous Salzburg delicacy, Mozartkugeln, in 1890. This chocolate treat immediately gained a reputation not only in Austria, but across Europe as well. The unique formula of Mozartkugeln consists of marzipan made from pistachio nuts. This marzipan forms the core, which is then coated in nougat and dark chocolate.

Mozartkugeln are still handmade in the Fürst family business according to the original recipe.
