One of the most modern motoring resorts not only in Germany, but also in the whole of Europe. It covers an area of 84 hectares at a distance of about 30 kilometres from Bad Lippspringe. Opened in 2013, it was originally an ammunition depot for the British army. Its 4.274-kilometre circuit, which is lined with forests and has an asphalt track with an average width of 12 metres and 19 corners, was designed by German architect and car racer Hermann Tilke in collaboration with German rally driver Walter Röhrl.
The circuit itself can be divided into two smaller circuits of 2.4 kilometres and 1.8 kilometres. The elevation difference between the highest and lowest point of the course is 70 metres, with a total elevation gain of 100 metres per lap. The highest ascent is 26 percent, while the descent is 20 percent.
The circuit, with its many technical passages, rapidly changing corners and often blind horizons, offers a great riding experience.
